We didn't know what to do. We didn't know where to turn. My mother-in-law's dementia progressed so fast, as soon as she was diagnosed, she needed full-time care. I don't know what we would have done without "A Place For Mom," and our Senior Living Advisor, Justin **. Justin listened to our plight and guided us every step of the way. After we partnered with, "A Place For Mom," we never felt alone again. Justin helped us find care homes that fit our loved one's needs and budget. He arranged tours, answered questions and acted as a liaison whenever needed. When we settled on a care home, Justin stayed in touch during the transition and continued to check-in for several weeks after. I don't know how we could have gotten through this without Justin and, "A Place For Mom."

Dad was well cared for there and we were able to get away and have a vacation and visit our adult children out of state. For some much needed couple time and family time. I was looking at assisted living facilities for my Mom and I contacted A Place For Mom because I saw it on TV. Melissa ** reached out to me and listened to what I was needing as far as care for my Mom. She was friendly, very knowledgeable, and she really understood what a hard step this was for me to be making for the care of my Mom. She helped me set up a tour of a nearby facility that I had already known about but didn't get over to see it. I am sure glad that I did because I found the right community for my Mom to move to. I am thankful that I reached out to A Place for Mom because I would have skipped over this wonderful community that I am sure my Mom will be happy at. I highly recommend A Place for Mom to help you search for care for your aging parents.

When my mom needed more skills than her assisted living was able to provide, I struggled to get information, advice and help to place her in a new facility. After calling many SNFs and never getting a response, I felt frustrated and unsure where to turn. A friend referred me to A Place for Mom, and within 3 minutes I had a call. I was transferred to someone in my area who enlightened me that my mom did not really need a SNF, she needed a memory care facility with an enhanced license to provide more services. While I was on the phone, we connected with 1 facility and arranged a tour. Within a half of an hour, I heard from 3 other facilities and scheduled tours promptly. I was able to place my mom with a few days. It was so refreshing to have help!!! The customer service was amazing. It was efficient, effective and very caring!! Thank you so much! I am not sure what I would have done without A Place for Mom!!!

Punctuality & Speed

The whole situation of having to help the parents was new, and there is this whole industry out there dedicated to this which we did not understand at all. We worked with A Place for Mom for over a year, all while trying to learn what the options are. This was in parallel with my parents coming to grips that this was a good move. Three ambulatory experiences over the last year helped them realize they may no longer be safe in their house and a move may be a good choice. Once they figured that out, thanks to all the research we did with A Place for Mom, we were ready to act on it and found a senior living facility very quickly. Very thankful for all the support along the way.

I didn't think I would need A Place for Mom but I was wrong. Rose was kind, compassionate, caring & gave me the information needed. She helped schedule 6 memory care facilities, left me her phone number & said I could call anytime. We selected the very first. My Mom was placed 5 days after the Dr said she needed extra help. 5 Days! What a blessing. Thanks to the Lord & A Place for Mom. Thank you Rose.

Found an excellent ALF facility that fit our needs. Ashley was a great help. We looked at a number of places and found the best. We had to move quickly since the discharging hospital put my wife in a horrible place. We highly recommend the use of this service and it was at no cost to us.

I So glad there are people who really wanted to help me find a place. I have been looking for a place for my husband. Thank you for giving me the names of several places and helping set up tours. The representatives were kind and helpful in setting up tours for multiple facilities. They were prompt with follow up as well. Our situation was unique in that my mother was at a facility that informed us that they were closing displacing 35-40 residents. A Place for Mom was very sympathetic to our plight and offered kind words and assistance with finding another facility.
